About Wings and Wheels

Started by 3 friends with a passion for cars, planes, and community

Created by local automotive enthusiasts, Wings & Wheels celebrates the intersection of cars and aviation in the Chicago area. 2025 marks the first of what we plan to make an annual summer tradition, showcasing the passion and craftsmanship of both communities.

This event made me feel that sense of awe. reminded me of the first show i went to.

Frequently asked questions

Common Questions

What cars are allowed as show cars?

Our goal is showcase rare and unique enthusiast vehicles from all eras. Although we do not have a specific list, any car you may classify as “general traffic” would be best for our spectator parking.

At this time, we are only accepting online purchases for tickets. To help expedite things and minimize a long line we are not selling tickets on-site.

Nope! We welcome all photographers and videographers to join int he fun of our event. However, drones are not allowed without FAA approval. You can contact us if you are interested in this.

The airport and local DeKalb fire department has set limits on how many vehicles we can park in our designated area. Once we sell out, all traffic will be guided into the spectator parking lot.
